Our pricing is based off the current TD bid and ask prices. Current market conditions affect pricing and can change from second to second. Preferred pricing is available for authenticated TD customers who pay from their TD bank account.
Preferred pricing is available for TD Customers who pay for their purchase from a TD bank account; this is the default pricing displayed on the TD Precious Metals digital store. Final pricing will be displayed after the payment method has been selected.
Only eligible accounts will display in the account selection dropdown menu. Certain accounts, such as US Dollar denominated accounts, are not eligible and will not display.
There is a manufacturing cost of producing a precious metals product. The market price does not include manufacturing, transportation, or storage costs.
Prices for items on the website will be refreshed every 15 minutes and in your shopping cart every 10 minutes to reflect the current market prices of gold, silver and platinum.
Your pricing will be confirmed once you have selected your payment method at checkout. Preferred pricing is available for authenticated TD customers who pay from their TD bank account.
There is no minimum purchase requirement. The maximum total purchase limit is $2,999.99 CAD per 24 hours for non-TD customers and $9,999.99 CAD per 24 hours for TD and Verified.Me customers.
After confirming your purchase at check-out, the payment will be processed via the payment method you selected. Successful charges will appear within a few business days on your payment card statement, or immediately if you are a TD customer who pays from your TD bank account.
Pricing and charges on the TD Precious Metals digital store are available in Canadian Dollars only. Payment in US Dollars is currently only available for precious metals transactions completed by TD customers at a TD Canada Trust branch. Please note: In-branch precious metals purchases can only be made from your TD Canada Trust deposit account which must be open, in funds and in good standing at the time the purchase is processed.
Certain products do come packaged with a Certificate of Authenticity as described in the packaging specifications.
The TD Precious Metals digital store accepts payment by Visa Debit, Debit Mastercard, Visa, MasterCard, or from a TD bank account. Canadian issued cards only.
Product shipping is processed within Canada via Canada Post to addresses within Canada; you should not incur any duty fees.

No. TD Personal Banking Customers cannot sign in with Interac verification service on the TD Precious Metals site. To authenticate as a TD customer, please select the "TD Personal Banking Customer" tab on the TD Precious Metals Login or Checkout page, and click the "Login with my TD Credentials" button
If a user has deleted their Interac verification service profile, they will not have access to their corresponding TD Precious Metals profile. All previous transaction history will no longer be accessible if you come back and re-sign up at a later date.
TD offers two delivery options: home delivery and in-branch delivery (for in-person pick-up).
Yes, you can select branch delivery from a list of participating TD Canada Trust branches at checkout. You will be contacted at the phone number you provided once your order has arrived at your selected branch and is ready for pick-up. Valid government issued photo identification and Order Number are required for pick-up of orders delivered to a TD branch.

Home delivery orders are shipped via Canada Post with a recipient signature required. We reserve the right to substitute a different shipping method other than that which you selected on your order.

Yes, you agree that the courier may leave any items with any person who appears to be an adult over the age of 18 at the delivery address and that neither the courier nor TD has any duty to verify the age or identity of the recipient.
Canada Post will leave a delivery notice advising you when/where to pick up your missed delivery package. If you do not pick up the order within 15 calendar days after the day on which the notice was left, the contents of the package will be bought back by TD at our then-current prices. You will be responsible for paying the return delivery fee of $10.00 CAD. TD will calculate the buy back price, will subtract the delivery fee, and the difference will be credited to the payment card you used to make the purchase.

For pickup of precious metals in-branch, you must provide government issued photo identification that is original, current, and valid. The name on the ID must match the information on your order. Valid identification includes:
• Driver's License (Canada or USA only)
• Passport (Canada or International)
• NEXUS Card
• Secure Certificate of Indian Status (Canada)
• Military Identification Card (Canada)
• Permanent Resident Card (Canada)
• Canadian Government Issued ID Card (Federal, Provincial, Territorial)
• Canadian Citizenship or Naturalization Card/Certificate
• Provincial Health Card: in the case of a Canadian Health card, provincial legislation shall allow its use.
Your order will be held in branch for 4 weeks. You will be contacted at the phone number you provided once your order has arrived at your selected branch and is ready for pick-up. Valid government issued photo identification and Order Number are required at the time of pick-up. If you do not pick up the order within 4 weeks after the day on which the branch contacts you to notify you of the order arrival, the contents of the package will be bought back by TD at our then-current rates. You will be responsible for paying the return delivery fee of $10.00 CAD. TD will calculate the buy back price, will subtract the delivery fee, and the difference will be credited to the payment card you used to make the purchase.
For non-TD customers:Your billing and shipping addresses must match. Items will be delivered by a courier service selected by TD and may only be delivered to the residential billing address that is linked to the payment card you've provided for payment with your order.
It is your responsibility to ensure the information in your profile remains accurate.
For TD customers:For orders <$2,999.99 CAD, you may ship to your home address listed on your TD profile or to a TD branch. Please note: there is a limit of $2,999.99 per 24 hours for shipments to a home address. For orders >$3,000.00, you can only ship to a TD branch for pick-up.

Yes, all our parcels are ship-insured. The insurance covers your parcel from loss or damage during transportation. The insurance ceases upon your delivery signature.

While TD may at its sole discretion from time to time be willing to buy back items you have purchased, repurchase of any collector coins sold on the TD Precious Metals site will be at the then-current TD rates.
Requests for cancellation of an order due to damage, incorrect, or missing items will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Yes, TD Canada Trust customers can sell their precious metals at any TD branch. Our competitive pricing is based on live market rates for gold, silver and platinum. TD reserves the right to assess the precious metal product(s) and to determine whether they are fit to buy back, at its sole discretion.
You may be required to claim a capital gain or capital loss if you decide to sell your precious metals back to TD Canada Trust. You should consult your tax advisor to obtain tax advice regarding the tax treatment of such sales.
