Canada's penny returns as a 5 oz. 99.99% pure silver coin to mark the 10th anniversary of the last Canadian one-cent circulation coin ever minted.
In this coin, the Royal Canadian Mint brought back G.E. Kruger Gray's classic twin maple leaf design reproduced on a larger scale. The reverse of the coin also incorporates the last year the penny was struck in "0" in the year "2022".
This limited-edition tribute provides an enlarged view of those familiar details that were once a constant presence in the lives of Canadians.
