Introduced to the American market in 1947 Topps Chewing Gum Inc. of New York packaged the popular Bazooka® gum in patriotic red, white and blue colors. A few years later in 1954 Bazooka Joe® and his Gang® debuted along with comic strips wrapped around the pink chunks of bubble gum. These comics quickly became collectibles in their own right with hundreds of versions.
This replica sized fourty-gram 99.99% pure silver piece commemorates Bazooka®’s 75th Anniversary in 2022 and comes with vintage comics - three versions randomly packed within the overall mintage.
