Description

The new Giants of the Galápagos Islands series by PAMP Suisse showcases a variety of unique creatures found in the Galapagos Islands. Each are considered giants in their own right!

Made in one-ounce of 99.99% pure silver legal tender, the first coin is dedicated to the Giant Seahorse, to be followed by the Whale Shark and Galápagos Tortoise. The Seahorse is the only known seahorse species to be found in the Galápagos Islands. It can grow up to 12 inches in length, making it the largest species of seahorse to ever be found! The bony creature has been printed with yellow, and its head and tail both exceed the boundaries of the circular coin.

Only 2,500 pieces of these spectacular coins are minted worldwide. Each coin has a unique serial number and is enclosed in a shaped protective capsule with packaging that highlights information about the Galápagos Islands and the Giant Seahorse.
